MRS. ANNIE FAYE HAYES ANDERSON - Age 76, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, September 9, 2019. She was born on May 22, 1943 in Chatsworth, Georgia to the late Robert Hayes and Annie May Hayes. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry, Robert Jr., Broadrick, James, and Cecil Hayes, sister, Edna Broadrick, Robbie Haley, Ruby Rogers, Dimple Hayes, and Cora Hayes. For many years she was employed at Rogers Dye and Shaw Industry.
Survivors are her loving and devoted husband, David Anderson; four daughters, Pastor Detria (Perry) Smith, Malette Anderson, Donna Shelton, and Debbie (Buddy) Maddox; three sons, David Hayes, Danny Hayes, DeWayne Hayes; grandchildren, Jennifer Tanner, Malarie Smith; three great grandchildren, Ashton Tanner, Alijah Tanner, Alani High; ten other grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and one great great grandson; sisters-in-law, Ora Branham, Mary Ruth Austin, Marva Powell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 1:00 P. M. in the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia with Minister Brenda Thomas and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday after 11:00 A. M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 P. M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
