Idaho Governor. Morrison attended Wooster University in Ohio and law school at New York's Cornell University. On moving to Idaho, he established a legal practice in Canyon County and became involved in state politics with unsuccessful attempts for a seat in the legislature. In 1902 he was elected on the Republican ticket as the sixth Governor of Idaho, serving from 1903 to 1905. He failed in his 1904 re-election campaign and resumed his legal practice until his death.
