Claude Malcolm Morrison was born April 25, 1926 to Claude and Deva Morrison. Preceded in death by his mother, father and sister, Darnel Swim.

Claude served in the Navy during WWII and was the recipient of four metals while serving. After his honorable discharge, Claude earned his masters degree from McMurray College in Abilene, TX.

Claude married and had three children: Mike, Ann and Nancy. He was so proud of all three of his children.

Claude coached a variety of sports, but his favorite was football. He was once honored to be named Texas high school's 'Coach of the Year'. After coaching for seventeen years, Claude developed a chain of 21 restaurants.

Claude had a remarkable personality and won the hearts of many. He was always a positive person without a negative thought and gave the best hugs in the world, as anyone who knew him would attest.

Claude married Jodie in January 2004 and he inherited two more sons: Art and Al Mowdy and their families.

Claude was a member of the Georgetown Country Club for over 20 years. Besides Jodie, his passion was golf and telling his famous golf stories. His buddies honored Claude by placing a plaque in his honor at the 14th hole. The plaque reads "A Tribue to Claude Morrison".

Claude is survived by his wife Jodie; Mike Morrison and wife Diane; Ann Wilson and husband Billie; Nancy Hellewell and husband Ric; Art Mowdy and wife Deborah; Al Mowdy and wife Jean; nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

A thank you to all his many friends and neighbors that visited him during his stay at Estrella Oaks and the hospital. Also, a special thanks to Estrella Oaks staff, care givers and therapy group for his wonderful care.
