On July 31, 1983, he married Anne R. (Michael) Dunn.
Stephen graduated from Noblesville High School in 1961. He retired from Delco Remy in 1997 where he had worked as a tool maker for more than 34 years . Stephen also worked as a Bernina sewing machine technician for Quilt Quarters for more than 18 years. He was a member of the UAW #662 and a life member of the America Motorcycle Association. He enjoyed scuba diving and held his Sport Pilot's license for more than 15 years. Stephen was known as a guy who could fix anything.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife of more than 36 years, Anne Dunn of Elwood, daughter, Stephanie (Tom) Gosser of Jonesboro, son, Tony (Donna) Dunn of Fishers, step daughter, RaeAnne (Tim Nichols) Booker of Elwood, grandson, Shane Carte, 3 step grandchildren, Jessica Harpel, Erica Harpel, and Emily Booker, brother, Ty (Eva Sue) Dunn of Riverwood, sister, Pam (Bruce) Louks of Cicero, brother-in-law, Phil Iman, nephews, Terry, Matt, and Dustin, and niece. Lea.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father, John A Dunn, mother, Lou (Penwell) Dunn, and a sister, Linda Iman and nephew, Chris Dunn.
Funeral service celebrating Stephen's life will be on Thursday, September 12, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Dunnichay Funeral Home with Pastor Carl McMurray officiating. Burial will follow at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Dunnichay
