John was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn and a sister Brenda Frey.
His love of farming was instilled at birth and lasted until his last breath. A proud, innovative farmer, he was a lifelong supporter of the FFA. His passions included putting over 300,000 miles on his Honda Goldwing while out along the country roads, traveling to the Commodity Classics around the USA, attending church every Sunday at the Agora Church in Dublin, enjoying his Breakfast Club in the mornings, and eating lunch every day at Roosters. After retiring as a bus driver of 20 years for Marysville Exempted Schools, he enjoyed traveling to Florida to spend time with his 2 grandchildren.
