Larry peacefully passed away at the age of 72. Born in Lincoln, graduated from Southeast High School. He enjoyed watching and participating in various sports such as football, basketball, and bowling. He was a car enthusiast and his all-time favorite pastime was reading.

Larry attended BPAA Junior Achievement Championship in Washington DC in 1962 and was Nebraska State BPA Champion that same year. He later enlisted in Navy both active and later a reservist. He enjoyed many happy hours working at Bowl Mor Lanes and Pizza Bowl.

Larry survived by wife Kathy of Omaha, brother Dennis Vance and sister-in-law Judy of Georgia. As well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his mother Ruth, step father Roy Stubbs and father Roy Vance.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Roper and Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee). Visitation Friday March 8, 2019 from 2-7pm at Roper and Sons South Chapel. Private Interment.
