In life, Adelaide was a graduate of the Cooper Hospital School for Nurses and served as a Registered Nurse at Cooper University Hospital for ten years. She was an accomplished water-colorist, and an avid family-history researcher.

Adelaide enjoyed formal dinner dances with her husband Fred, and camping vacations with her family at the National Parks in the United States and Canada.

She is dearly missed by her two children, and all who knew her.
