Carrol L. “Rusty” Cox Jr. passed away April 22, 2017 in Gainesville, Florida. he Was born in Fredericksburg, Va. January 4, 1965 and attended Stafford County schools, Fork Union Military Academy from 1979-1981, and graduated from Stafford high School in 1983. he served in the Army until March 29, 1993 and then worked in the automotive field as a mechanic, in customer service and management. In 2012 be became a Board Certified hearing Instrument Specialist and worked in this field until his death.
He is survived by his wife, Sabrina, of Crawfordville, Fla., Three sons, Michael, Dakota and David, three Daughters, Katie, Carrie and Autumn and Seven Grandchildren, his father Carrol, Sr. of Richmond, Va. his mother, Karen, of Weems, Va. and brother Kevin, of North Carolina.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017, 11 a.m., at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Fisher house for the help and care they give to veterans and their families.
