Franklin “Frank” D. Wilson died peacefully in El Reno, Oklahoma in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 31st, 2019 at the age of 83 years old.

Frank is survived by his children, son Kirk Wilson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, daughter Jana Stoll and husband Scott Stoll of Edmond, Oklahoma. Grandchildren, Tyler, Brooklyn and Colton Stoll. Sister, Margie Smith and husband Dub Smith of Elk City, Oklahoma. Brothers, Marvin Wilson and wife Linda Wilson of Grants Pass, Oregon, Jess Wilson and wife Hilda Wilson of Monroe, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his father, Charley Wilson, mother Grace Wilson, brother Donald Lee and nephews Robert and Rodney Wilson.

Frank was born on March 5th, 1936 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Charley and Grace Wilson. He graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1955 and was voted “Nicest Smile” of his graduating class. He moved to Oklahoma City and worked hard for his family in the sales field his entire life. His son Kirk was born in October of 1968 and daughter Jana followed on his birthday in 1971. His children remember him as a loving and kind father. Throughout his life, he had an abiding faith in Christ and this was always his highest priority. With his strong faith, he was always positive no matter his circumstance. He truly never had a negative word to say about anyone. He kept the “Nicest Smile” his entire life, and he left this world to be with Christ having the same sweet countenance and kind attitude. We miss and love you dad. Always.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of caregivers at the Care Living Center of El Reno. Their exceptional care and loving kindness is something we will always hold close to our heart, and words can’t ever express our deep thankfulness.
