Elizabeth Catherine (Yates) Hooker; born February 10, 1959, in Metropolis, IL; went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 18th, 2015, at her home in West Paducah, KY.

Although too brief, Elizabeth lived a full life and experienced great love. She graduated from Sky View High School, Smithfield, Utah in 1977. Following high school, she attended PCC and earned her Registered Nursing Degree. She then went on to help countless people, including many youth during her time at Charter Behavioral Health, and most recently, as the PHP Coordinator at Four Rivers Behavioral Health, in Paducah.

Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Sue Sumner, Metropolis, IL; her father, James (Susan) Yates, St. George, UT; two sisters: Evelyn Worden and her family, and Elaine Snyder and her family; step-children, Aimee Hooker Thompson, Gerald Randell Hooker, Mindy McClain Hall and Brandon McClain.
Elizabeth also leaves nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and several step-grand and step-great grandchildren.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie R. Hooker, in 2006, her step-father, RW Sumner, maternal and paternal grandparents and her beloved dogs Clover & Clementine.

Friends and family are invited to join a celebration of her life on Tuesday, December 22 , 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with a brief service following.
