To say he had a strong work ethic is an understatement. He could be cantankerous but had a heart of gold.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Sally Diaz of Colton, his son Mark Diaz (Becky) of Riverside, daughter Sandy Diaz (Bill) of Oxnard, son Juan Alegria (Nancy) of Redlands, son Gabriel Alegria of Oklahoma and a brother Felix Diaz from Victorville.
He leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. He was preceded in death by his first wife Olegaria and his brothers Frank and Lupe.
Graveside services for Joe Diaz will be at 10:00 am on September 10, 2019, at Victor Valley Memorial Park in Victorville. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
