Ed was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, and was a long-time member and deacon of Gulf Beach Baptist Church.
Ed was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Doyle Bruce.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Nellie (Blanche) Hughes Daniel; his daughters, Carol Evans (Floyd) of Douglasville, GA and Elaine Bruce of Panama City Beach; 4 grandchildren, Kelly Collett, Tony Collett, Patricia Townsend and Andrew Harvell; his great-grandchildren, Trinity, Dylan, Edward and Tori; and a great-great-grandchild, Rhylee.
Entombment with military honors offered by the US Air Force Honor Guard at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
