Elizabeth Louise (Lukens) Jenkins, age 79, of Anderson, passed away on Feburary 24, 2019 from an extended illness. She was born on April 11, 1939 to John and Mary (Kerns) Lukens in Marysville, OH.

Elizabeth graduated from Burris Laboratory School in 1957. She attended Shelby State Community College in Memphis, Tennessee where she earned her Associates of Science degree.

She married Donald C. Jenkins on June 29, 1974.

She enjoyed crocheting, working puzzle books, playing Bingo, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband Donald C. Jenkins, son John B. Green, daughters Patricia “Ellen” (Green) Schramm, Susan Green, and Tracy Jenkins (Brian Cooley); brothers John Edward Lukens and Joseph Lukens; sister Mary (Lukens) Rooney (Terry); grandchildren Marisa Schramm, Brittany Schramm, and Miranda McGuire; great-grandson Arthur Philpot; and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday February 28, 2019 at starting at 5pm at Meadowbrook Church of Christ located at 601 W. 38th Street, Anderson, IN 46013
