From the Family: A special “Thank You” to the nurses over the years at North Okaloosa Medical Center. You have treated her so well and a lot of you called her “Momma” or “Granny.” She loved each of you for the care you showed her and the special way you joked and laughed with her. You made her stay more comfortable with your attention. A special “Thank you” to a young man who worked in the dietary department, Steven York; who always gave her sweet tea and her orange sherbet each meal. You brightened her day with your smile and special treats! Thank you all so much for being there when our Momma was Sick! Words cannot express our gratitude.

A time of visitation with the family will begin on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.
