Barlow was employed by Ford Motor Company in River Rouge for 38 years. He retired in 1954. Children: William C., Elizabeth Sasser, Phyllis Kimbrough and Ruth Laflin. Son of William D and Anna Romer Simonds. My Grandfather, Alonzo Smith also worked at the River Rouge Plant and that may be how he and Susanna Smith met. M. Mildred Simonds was my mother, Margaret Stichler Smith's mother.
