Richard was killed in a automobile accident off the Haines street exp in route to his home after being out with friends for the evening, his car slid coming of the exit ramp hitting a utility pole Richard died instantly, one other person was killed only knew him as "Gator" the other person survived! Richard served in the US Army and had only been out of the service for about 2 years at the time of his death, he had been stationed in Viet Nam~ He had a kind heart and almost everyone that knew Richard loved him. Richard was married to and woman named Ann, no children.
To his family he was known as Bubbie~ His Mother (deceased) was Eunice Rigdon Hanks died in Leon County Tallahassee, Fl bural unknown~Eliza Hanks was Richards grandmother, on his maternal side, and Eunice was Richards Mother~
