According to the Findley Genealogy by Mrs. Robert A Hughes, published in 1967 Mary Ferris was born in Scotland, in 1742. She married Rev. Matthew Henderson, in 1758. She died Sept. 25, 1822, in Cannonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
This is questionable due to the inscription on her gravestone which says she was 71yrs old and died in 1822 which would put her birthyear about 1751. Her age given at death may be inaccurate, but again it's difficult without other documentation that provides proof to determine accurate information.
