Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart is hosting Randy’s celebration of life services beginning with a visitation on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, followed by the funeral at 12 noon on Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Gary Sheets of the Middlebury Community Church of the Nazarene will officiate and burial will follow at Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen.
Randy was the director of engineering at the Dicor Corporation of Elkhart at the time of his death, and he will be best remembered for being an avid camping enthusiast and a die-hard devotee of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Randy and Laura would spend the better part of their summers at Twin Mills, spending time cooking, grilling, entertaining friends and neighbors, visiting fellow campers on his golf cart and living life to the fullest with those whom he loved the most, especially his family. He had an eclectic taste in music and a joyous personality that would light up anyone’s day. Due to his engineering background, Randy always loved to build and tinker with all things mechanical.
On-line condolences can reach the family at the funeral home’s website and memorial donations may be given to Laura on behalf of a fund being established for his children.
