Nancy Georgette (Esposito) Howell, the daughter of late James Anthony “Tony” Esposito and Elvira (Santilla) Esposito, was born on February 22, 1933 in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. She entered into eternal rest on September 4, 2019, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 86 years.

Nancy was raised in New Jersey where she attended elementary and high school. After high school, Nancy graduated from Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1954. In nursing school, Nancy met the love of her life, Jim Howell. They were united in marriage in 1955. To this union, two children were born.

Jim and Nancy lived their life of sixty-two years together in New Jersey and Oklahoma. Early in their marriage while living in New Jersey, Nancy stayed home to raise their children. As their children got older, Nancy worked as a trauma nurse in South Jersey. In 1978, Jim and Nancy moved to Bethany, OK. Shortly after their move to Oklahoma, Nancy began working for the Oklahoma City Clinic (OCC) as a pediatric nurse. For over twenty-five years, Nancy cared for her precious patients throughout the Oklahoma City area at OCC. She was a very kind and giving person to all.

Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandma, nurse and friend. Nancy was a fantastic cook and specialized in homemade spaghetti and meatballs and pizzelles. She always welcomed guests into her home, where she was sure to feed them. Nancy was devoted to her husband Jim. Additionally, Nancy “Grams” was the best grandma around and took special care of her grandson, Steven.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Jim Howell in November of 2017, her parents, Tony and Elvira Esposito, and two brothers, Henry and Chris Esposito. Nancy is survived by her daughter Linda, son Steven, his wife Gayla, and two grandsons Jason and Steven, Jr. Nancy will be dearly missed by her family and numerous friends.

Services for Nancy will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway OKC, OK 73162.
