HOUSE, Lizzie Pearl Appleberry, born December 28, 1933 in Hogansville, GA to the late Sam and Ida May Pritchett, went to be with Jesus Christ Saturday, August 31, 2019 after a long illness. She was a charter member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church from 1971 and was the church's last charter musician, having served in that capacity for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Pritchett; son, Carl Appleberry; grandson, Jason Pritchett. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 36 years, Alan House; daughters, Karen Pritchett, Paula Alexander; brothers, Tyronne and Jack (Sheila) Smith; sister, Vera Smith; grandchildren, Lashonda Gullette, Ebony, Aaron and Ashley Nicholson, Kenyatta Alexander, Jasmone Pritchett, Carl and Anthony Smith; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, September 6, 2019 at Calvary M. B. Church, 2067 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 9 am at the church until time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
