Obituary:
Ida Buettner, 57, Route 1, Shawano, Town of Wescott, died Monday evening, March 17. Although she had been ailing, death came unexpectedly. She was born March 25, 1917 in Leopolis, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Adams. She lived at home with her parents and attended school in the Town of Grant. She married Ernest Buettner in the Peace Lutheran Church, Tilleda, May 12, 1935. They moved to the Town of Wescott where she has made her home since. She was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church, Town of Richmond and the St. James Ladies Aid.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest, one daughter, three sons, and several grandchildren.
Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Otto Adams, Antigo; Mrs. Amelia Wagner, Rockford, Illinois; Herman Adams, Wittenberg; Mrs. Helen Kratzke, Clintonville; Mrs. Gertrude Routzahn, Shawano; Mrs. Frieda Perry of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Frederick Adams, Joliet, Illinois; and Henry Adams, Las Vegas, Nevada. One sister preceeded her in death.
Services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the St. James Lutheran Church, Town of Richmond, with Rev. Mark Gaertner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Karth Kopitzke Funeral Home, Shawano, from 4 PM until 9 PM Wednesday and at the church until the time of the services.
