Frederick Arthur Gross, 81, of Richmond, Texas passed away on September 1, 2019. Fred was born on June 20, 1938, in Junction City, Kansas to Clarence and Margaret (Cox) Gross. Fred attended Junction City High School and proudly served his country with 23 years of military service.

Fred was a lifelong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America and was an active board member on his homeowner's association.

Fred is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon (Koska) Gross, whom he married on December 15, 1963; his two children, Michael Gross and Vicki Daley; sisters, Ruth Hall and Patricia Smith; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Final resting place will be at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Fort Riley, Kansas. Date of service is still pending.

In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may make memorial gifts to one of the following charities:
