Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her father Harry Allgor and mother Lucille Desadier Shaw; her husband Cecil R. Bryant; and her son: Cecil "Bubba" Bryant. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Jessie Potts and Brenda Ebert.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Ramona Benoit husband Johnny, grandsons Ryan Lindsay, Terrance Bryant (Amanda), and great grandchildren, Emma Hunter, and Wyatt Bryant and on the way great grandson Trenton Dubois. She is also survived by her sisters Shirley Brown, Kathy Spikes, Helen Hayes, her brothers Bobby Desadier and James Allgor, her best friend/caregiver and sister Kathy Bryant; special granddaughters, Brantlee Mae Colbert and Marley Martin; and numerous neices and nephews.
Those that were close to Charlotte knew her affectionately as "Sue Sue". She worked for many yearss as a caregiver at Grant Manor Nursing Home where she took care of the elderly untilthe time of her illness began. She spent the rest of her time just being a wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. Her most treasured posessions were her family members. She was a very loving and selfless person, always putting everyone else above herself. Her mission in life was to be sure everyone, especially her family, was looked after and cared for. She will be missed by her family and in their thoughts and memories for the rest of their lives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bryant will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chuck LaCroix officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Maurice Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a..m. until time of services.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Dubois, Terrance Bryant, James Allgor, Terryl Dubois, Bobby Desadier, Logan Lambert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Bryant, Johnny Benoit, Derek Lambert, Charlie Lambert, and Chris Lonadier.
