Renee Ann Garcia-Nuñez, 37, of Sedro-Woolley passed away with her sister, Tina Marie Garcia Saturday, June 30, 2007 in an auto accident in Tacoma.
She was born August 24, 1969 in Yakima, WA to Eugene and Esther (Romero) Garcia. She has lived in Skagit County for the past 13 years and worked as a receptionist for Skagit Island Orthopedics.
Renee was a caring wife, loving mother and dedicated friend. She loved to be around family and friends. Her kids were the love of her life.
Renee is survived by Daniel Nuñez, her two sons, Joshua Townsend and Caleb Nuñez both of Sedro-Woolley, WA; two daughters, Alexis Nuñez of Sedro-Woolley and Brittany McGarritty of Selah, WA; father, Gene Garcia of Mount Vernon; mother, Esther Romero of Tacoma, WA; brother, Geno Garcia; brother, Andrew Garcia, sister, Nicole Garcia, and sister, Rachael Garcia all of Puyallup; her aunts and uncles, Danny Garcia of Lake Stevens, WA, Theresa & JR Rocha, Mike & Rhonda Garcia, Robert & Sharon Garcia, Louise & Clint Miller, Ernie & Renee Garcia all of Mount Vernon, Linda Finley of West Plains, MO; grandparents, Louis & Eunice Garcia; in-laws, Petra & Porsirio Nuñez, Edith Gaspar, Elia Solis, Patty Saenz, Israel Nuñez, David Nuñez, Nora Nuñez, Noel Nuñez and Erica Nuñez.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Erika Garcia, her grandmothers, grandfather and uncle.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 12 Noon at Mount Vernon Cemetery, 1200 E. Fir St, Mount Vernon, WA. A reception will follow the graveside service at New Song Church.
