Songwriter. Grammy Award winner who wrote songs for Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Beyoncè, Destiny's Child, Lady GaGa and other artists. He wrote "You Rock My World" for what would be Michael Jackson's last album, "Invicible" in 2001; Brandy and Monica's 1998 hit duet, "The Boy Is Mine;" "Holler" released by the Spice Girls in 2000; "Telephone" performed by Lady GaGa and Beyoncé in 2010, and many more hits over his twenty year career. The R&B hit "Say My Name," recorded by Destiny's Child in 1999, was written about his relationship with a possessive girlfriend and earned him the 2001 Grammy Award for best R&B song. He was nominated five other times for "The Boy Is Mine" (best R&B song, 1999), "It's Not Right but It's OK" (best R&B song, 2000), "Say My Name" (best song, 2001), "He Wasn't Man Enough" (best R&B song, 2001), and "Love and War" (best R&B song, 2014).
