Raymond was born in Sweet Home, Oregon on March 11, 1942.
He grew up in Butte Falls, Oregon where he graduated high school.
After high school, Ray enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as a Staff Sergeant in the Vietnam War.
He married the love of his life, Karen Abbott on May 4, 1963 and they had 56 wonderful years of marriage.
They had 3 children together; Jeffery Allen, Joel David and Jodi Rae.
Raymond had 4 grandchildren; Lily Rae, Riley Reed, Griffin Clark and Grace Ann.
He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
Raymond had 1 sister, Elizabeth Hartlerode and 3 nieces, whom live in Oregon.
Raymond was a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church and attended weekly.
Raymond was a member of the Scottsdale JayCee's back in the 70's and 80's. He loved spending time reading, road trips and playing golf from time to time.
Raymond had a great spark to him, which everyone loved and adored. He will be deeply missed.
