Mrs. E. Hamner

Letitia Frances Bishop was born October 24 1871 on a farm near Winterset, and died at her home in Creston, December 19, 1933 at the age of 62. She was the daughter of Noah and Melissa Bishop.

She was married to E. Hamner in Des Moines September 28, 1890, moving to Winterset where they lived until 1912. To this union were born nine children, three of whom died in infancy, and Ora, who died last year.

She leaves beside her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Roy Bentold and Mrs. Walter Smith of Benson, Minnesota; three sons, Max of Creston, Floyd and Stanley at home; and one sister, Mrs. Thomas Faux of Patterson.

Funeral services were held at the Congregational church in Creston Friday and burial was in the Prairie Lawn cemetery in Spaulding.
