Marilyn L. Collins, 71, of Laona, WI passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rhinelander. Marilyn was born October 5, 1947 in Laona, WI the daughter of Michael and Harriet (Hansen) Belland. She was united in marriage to Marvin Collins on May 2, 1970 in Laona. Marilyn was a Mail Carrier in Laona for 36 years. She was a member of St. Leonard’s Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Marvin Collins; daughter, Amy Chastek, Milwaukee; Becky (Darren) Walentowski, Argonne; son, Christopher (Kimberly) Collins, Elkhorn; 9 grandchildren; sister, Cindy (William) Sharko, Laona; sister-in-law, Peggy (Belland) Rummel.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Belland.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at St. Leonard Catholic Church, Laona, WI with Fr. Felix Penetrante officiating. Burial to follow at Laona Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to time of service.
