Carole Ann (Battye) Miles, of Oxford

Carole Ann (Battye) Miles, 84, of Foster Street, died peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Paul L. Miles of Oxford; her son, Daniel W. Miles and his wife Brandy of Brookfield; and two granddaughters, Victoria E. Miles and Isabella C. Miles, both of Brookfield. She was predeceased by a son, Christopher John Miles of Oxford. She was born in Lawrence, daughter of the late William and Ruth (Barrows) Battye, and lived there before moving to Oxford 43 years ago. She graduated from Lawrence High School.

Mrs. Miles worked at New England Telephone for 33 years before retirement. She was an active member of Grace Episcopal Church in Oxford, where she also served on the Altar Guild, was a member of the choir, and participated in many church activities. Most of all, she adored her granddaughters and loved nothing more than spending time with them.

ARRANGEMENTS:
A funeral will be held at 10 am on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Grace Episcopal Church, 270 Main Street, Oxford. There are no calling hours.

Burial will be at North Cemetery in Oxford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/The Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
