Mrs. Elsie Wyant (Weaverling) Miller, wife of Charles Granville Miller, died in the J.C. Blair Memorial hospital on Friday, June 28, at 11 a.m. where she had been a patient the past seven day. On the day that Mrs. Miller was removed to the hospital her husband, an overseas veteran of the World war, was taken to the Veterans' hospital at Sun Mount N.U. He arrived in Mount Union Saturday morning to attend the funeral of his wife which was held today. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of John Wyant, deceased, and Florence Chalander Wyant of Everett. She was twice married. The first union was with Harold Weaverling and three children survive to this union. They are Maretta Weaverling of Lancaster, Harold Weaverling, Jr., of Shippensburg and Phyllis Weaverling of Largon, Pa. The second marriage was with Charles Granville Miller of near Bellwood in 1930. Four children survive this union. They are John, Charles, jr., James and Gary, all at home. Also surviving are the mother, Mrs. Florence Wyant of Everett and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mary Shoemaker, Cloyd Wyant and Miss Lydia Wyant, all of Everett, Mrs. Emma Mack of Bellefonte and Mrs. Minnie Kageriac of Hopewell; and one half brother, James Wyant, and a half sister, Mrs. Minnie Fluke also of Everett.
