Leaon Garrett, 94, Seymour, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Brookhaven in Springfield.
He was born March; 28, 1925 in West Plains, Missouri the son of the late Homer and Ruby (Lane) Garrett. He was united in marriage to Luella King on October 11, 1964 in Harrison, Arkansas. She preceded him in death March 17, 2014. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Audren and Joe Garrett, and two sisters, Verlene Cochran and Marie Jones.
Leaon was a World War II Army veteran. He was the owner of Rogersville Propane and a member of the Seymour First Baptist Church in Seymour.
He is survived by two daughters, Diana Garrett Bidneck and her husband Paul; and Sherri Garrett King; five grandchildren, Matthew Boring, Michelle Curan and her husband Bill, Mark Boring, Rachel Richter and her husband Jason, and Chris Bidneck and his wife Anna; eight great grandchildren, Jack, Alexa, Sofia, Sophia, George, Schaefer, Sloane, and Scarlett.
Burial, with full military honors, at Seymour Masonic Cemetery, Seymour.
