Omeda was named after her Father's sister. She was one of many, the middle daughter of nine girls with five brothers, yet very unique. A daughter, sister, niece, mother, and friend, were roles in life she relished. Now she rests with her Mom, sisters, and brothers.

One of her many nieces captioned a recent photo with the following- "This was a fun day . . . a really fun day in May. Yesterday we laid my Aunt Meeme (3rd from left) to rest. It was sad. It was hard. I looked around and was reminded these are “my” people, “my” family. . . . the ones who love me so unconditionally. . . . Praying for my Uncle Paul, Paula, Ryan, Richard & Kim, my Aunt Judy & Aunt Susie, my mom & all my precious cousins. Love them all so much.
