Bobby Clinton Burns, 89, of Rendon, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2019. He was preceded in death by his Father, David Clinton Burns, and Mother Birdie Deason Burns, both from Ross, Texas. Bobby had 7 siblings. He was preceded in death by Harry Lee Burns, Billy Ray Burns and Dorothy Looney. Survived by Norma Jean Hand, Allen Burns, Shirley Hutyra and Merrlyn Kay Knight. Bobby is survived by 3 daughters; Sheri Burns, Sheila Burns, Shelly Salian and 8 grandchildren. Additionally, Bobby had 2 sons; Richard Burns and Bobby Burns Jr.

Bobby served in the United States Army as a Medical Aidesman while stationed in Germany at the end of World War II. He was an avid gardener and loved all animals, especially horses. Bobby retired from the garment industry where he and his late wife, Sylvia Rose Burns, worked as partners for many years. Bobby will be dearly missed by all his family, friends and everyone who knew him.

Bobby's memorial service will be held with military honors at White Rock Cemetery in Ross, Texas on September 7th at 11:00am.
