Mr. Rogers was born on August 1, 1942 in Thomaston Ga, to the late James and Irene Rogers. He worked for Coca Cola for 32 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Rogers served his country in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son Jimmie Jerone Rogers Jr, and sister Kathy Bridges.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Linda Rogers of Thomaston Ga, daughters Mrs. Robin (Steve) Artinger of Molena Ga, Mrs. Dixie (Scott) Garner of Hollinville Ga, grandchildren Kristi Booker, Dakota Teal, Cheyenne Buchanan, Brandon Witt.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday September 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Saturday August 31, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
