- Mrs. Odessie May Parks, 84, of 124 Division St., Freeport, died unexpectedly, about 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11. She was dead on arrival at Pennock Hospital.
- Services are to be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, at the Dowling Cemetery.
- She was born in Hastings on June 21, 1891, the daughter of Valentine and Mary (Rowe) Fry. She attended the Weeks School and married Walter Thompson about 1915.
- They lived in the Pritchardville area for many years. Mr. Thompson died in June, 1957. She married Arvin Parks in about 1962. They lived in Middleville 2½ years and then moved to Freeport. He died in October, 1972.
- Surviving are one son, Gerald Thompson, and nine grandchildren.
- Arrangement were made by the Leonard Osgood Funeral Home in Hastings.
