Mr. Robert Lee Latta, 85 a resident of 107 W. College, Oxford passed Monday, April 2, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Robert Lee attended the Granville County Schools and was a member of New Hope Granville Missionary Baptist Church.
He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Robert Lee leaves to cherish loving memories a loving and devoted wife, four sons, two daughters, three step-sons, one aunt, twenty-one grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lila Latta.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Betts & Son Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend William Black and Reverend Steven Hargrove.
Interment will follow in the New Hope Granville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday.
