Virginia McCaslan-Pratt passed peacefully from this life on August 31, 2019 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Virginia was born the youngest of five daughters on January 20, 1937 in Orlando, Oklahoma to parents Carl and Vertie King. She attended school in Stillwater until she turned 17 and married Bill McCaslan. Their union was blessed with many joys including their three children; Kenneth, Vickie and Kyle. After Bill’s passing in 2009, God blessed Virginia with another to walk by her side as she was united in marriage to Ed Pratt in July of 2011. Virginia loved to play games and enjoyed dancing at senior citizens until her health declined. She was an active member of Church of the Brethren and Oak Street Baptist Church. She loved being out on the farm and spoiling her mama cows and their calves.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Bill; three sisters; and a special granddaughter, Amber Tomlinson.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Ed Pratt of Cushing, OK; children, Kenneth and Peggy McCaslan of Yale, OK, Vickie and Bill Hardaway of Canyon, TX, and Kyle and Les McCaslan-Rinehart of Joplin, MO; stepdaughters, Heather and Tony Guthrie, Andrea and Will Lee; grandchildren, Nicole and David Johnston, Brandi McCaslan, Joseph E. MCCaslan, Michael, Kaleb, and Levi Dreadfulwater; great grandchildren, McKayla, Lawson, Keely, Alex, Taylor, Devin, Jenna Jo, Scotty, William, Rose, Donovan, and Daisy Lee.

Funeral Services will be held at Big Creek Church of the Brethren. Interment will follow in the Church Yard Cemetery.
