Born August 22, 1940 in Paint Rock, Alabama, Mr. Barnett was the son of the late Raymond Barnett and Beatrice Reed Barnett. Before retiring, he worked as a forklift operator at Tifton Aluminum for 23 years and he attended Union Church of God in Eldorado. He and his wife have been serving as Foster Parents since 1993 and he loved his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed working puzzle books and he loved to paint.
Mr. Barnett is survived by his wife Erma Lee Barnett of Tifton; three sons, Jimmie Dale Barnett and John Wendell Hilty, both of California and Kevin Lee Barnett of Tifton; three daughters, Johnette Boone of Albany, Becky Seymour of Omega and Rosie Barnett of Warwick; three sisters, Sue Wigha and Pat Glass, both of California and Linda Mullins of Idaho; thirteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
