Clara J. Hausman, 90, of Allentown, died Monday, October 30, 2006 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late George F.V. Hausman Jr. Born in Lowhill Township, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Maude (Bortz) Schuler. Clara worked for Nanette Manufacturing, Allentown, until retiring in 1963. After retiring, she worked for the Allentown School District Day Care until 1985.
Survivors: Daughter, Elizabeth A., wife of Clarence F. Broadbent, of Macungie; grandchildren, Carl Hertensteiner, with whom she resided, Debra Hertensteiner of East Windsor, N.J., Michelle, wife of Michael Miller, of Seipstown, Robert Hartman Jr., of Breinigsville, Theresa, wife of Loren Keim Jr., of Schnecksville, Patricia Carlson of Bedminster, N.J., James and his wife. Kelli Broadbent. of Mesa, Ariz.; 18 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judith Hartman and by a grandson, Richard Kibler.
