William J. Hamm, Jr., 53, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.

Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Jeannette Gettis Hamm, Schuylkill Haven, and the late William J. Hamm, Sr., former director of Schuylkill County Veteran Affairs Office. He attended Intermediate Unit 29.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Hamm. Surviving in addition to his mother are four siblings, Robert Hamm, Minersville, Victoria Milillo, Schuylkill Haven, and Deborah Weiss, Orwigsburg; nieces and nephews.
