Justin Paul Scott, 32, died Friday, April 10, 2015 following an accident
Born January 15, 1983 in Orange, California he was the son of Sandra (Schmitz) and Russell Scott. He graduated from high school in Cody, Wyoming.
He and his mother moved to Thermopolis, Wyoming in 2003.
A member of the Eagles Lodge Aerie 1884, he held the office of Chaplain. Justin was an active member of the Risen Son Baptist Church. At Big Horn Enterprises he was involved in Special Olympics receiving medals in basketball and bowling. A generous, charismatic young man, Justin was loved by all he met. He and his girlfriend, Ruth, were daily visitors at the local library and his church.
Loved ones surviving include his mother, Sandy, Thermopolis; grandparents, Lil and Jack Riegel, Cody; an aunt and uncle in Arkansas; his 2nd mother, Natalie Hodson, Thermopolis; girlfriend, Ruth Lizette; cousins, Kay and Steve Stevens; and friends Gloria & Richard Maldonado, Sheila & Chuck Peterson, Butch Hendrickson, Deb, Marty Oravec, and friends at BHE.
Justin was preceded in death by his father, Russell Scott; maternal great grandmother and paternal grandmother.
A memorial service will be held Saturday morning, April 18, 11:00 AM at the Risen Son Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Johnson officiating. A light lunch will follow.
