Janette Logan was first Married to Howard Green Bayles according to the U.S. Presbyterian Church Records 1701-1970 for Janette Logan. On May 2 1905. The New York Daily Tribune ran a very nice wedding announcement on Sun May 7 1905, vol 65, page 58. One month later the NY state census for 1905 was produced Showing Janette Logan Bayles and Howard Green Bayles as married and living at his fathers home in Manhattan.
By 1908 they divorced, and she remarried (Charles P. Jacobs) the same year, (16 Jun 1908). Howard remarried on 19 Jan 1910 in Newark, NJ to Kelsey Percival Kitchel and they sailed
at noon of their wedding day for Mexico.
Janette was well covered in U.S. news papers in 1920 as "a hard worker in Interest of disabled Ex-Service Men" the article even had her Photo. The 1920 U.S. Census showed Janette's occupation as "RED CROSS WORKER.."
