Edna Marie Morris was the daughter of Mr. James Morris, Sr. and Mrs. Frankie Mae Ross Morris, born August 21, 1941.

She attended East Depot and Ethel W. Kight.

Edna joined Mt. Beulah Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully until her health declined.

She worked for Milliken and Company and West Point Pepperell for several years.

Edna enjoyed sewing, cooking and swimming. She also loved talking and laughing with her family and trying to keep her family members in line.

On Friday, June 28, 2019; she departed this life at Newnan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newnan, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Victor Conrad Morris; brothers: George Morris, Sr., and James Morris, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Annie C McCarthy Morris.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. Pastor W. Craig Thornton will officiate.

Interment will follow at Southview Cemetery.
