Jamisontown Resident
AT REAR OF PREMISES
JAMES WILKINSON .. was found dead at the rear of his premises at Jamisontown on Friday morning. That morning Constable Filan, at the call box, received word that a man was lying at the rear of an old house at Jamisontown. He went out and met Cecil Roots and his son and was directed to a house in a street on the eastern side of Mulgoa Road.
Deceased was lying face downwards with his hands in front and underneath his body. There was a small pool of blood, probably due to injury in falling. About 4 feet away from deceased's head was a box, on which it was thought he had been sitting. Red ants were on his face. Near the box was a parcel of meat. The coroner, Mr E. F. Rule, was informed of the happening and went out and inspected the body.
Deceased, who was about 66 years of age, was the son of the late Henry Wilkinson.
