Mr. Edward James “Cotton” Terry, Jr., 55, of Burlington passed away at the Hospice Home on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.
A native of Rockingham County, he was the husband of Sarah P. Terry, who survives and the son of Edward James Terry, Sr. and Mary Cannon Martin, who survive. Other survivors include his son, Joey Terry; four grandchildren, Kirstin, Landis, Kylah and John; and two sisters, Sandra Wilson and Mary Quinn.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth.
The funeral service will be held at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 12:00 noon by Rev. Don Pegg with the family receiving friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon prior to the service. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
