ASHLEY ELIZABETH MEISS - LEWIS, 31, has returned to her heavenly home in May of 2018.
Born in Van Wert, Ohio, she was the daughter of Thomas and Susan Lewis.
She was a very loving and caring mother, daughter, sister and friend.
Ashley served her country as a U.S. Army Military Police veteran stationed in Iraq, Romania and Germany earning the rank of Sergeant.
The most important part of her life was her family. Ashley loved spending time with her children, pets and many friends. She also enjoyed hiking, running, and fishing.
Surviving are her parents, Sue Lewis and Thomas Lewis; stepmother, Arlene Lee; children, Lewis Meiss and Isabelle Meiss; siblings, Jason Lewis, Justin Lewis, Christopher Lewis (fianc‚ Jessica Carboni); stepbrothers, Brandon Lee and Hunter Burley; and grandparents, Mary Baucher and Sandra Lewis.
Memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton St., Fort Wayne. The family will also be receiving Ashley's friends from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at American Legion Post 47, 601 Reed Road, Fort Wayne.
