Reverend Stanley Womack, 75, of Whitefield died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Haskell County Hospital following a sudden illness. He was born on August 16, 1938 in Temple to Elmer Lewis Womack and Flora Elizabeth (Baten) Womack. He grew up in Temple where he received his education. After he attended school he joined the United States Marines and served his country bravely for several years. He then began a career in the Ministry as pastor of the Longtown Full Gospel Church. He will always be remembered as loving to hunt, fish, woodworking, and being a private pilot.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Womack of the home; five daughters, Lacey Terrell of the Home, Starla Terrell of the home, Lisa Womack of Brooken, Denise Hobbs of Keota, Skylar Shell of Porum; seven sons, Lamar Womack of Temple. OK., Jason Womack of Temple, OK., Alan Brady of Keota, Mike Brady of Keota, Fred Benton of Brooken, Travis Terrell of Porum, Eli Terrell of Porum; thirty three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one on the way in May; one brother, Elmer Ray; two sisters, June Sorensen, Glenda Reece; three half-sisters, Phyllis, Billie Ann, Vickie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Flora Womack; his wife Yvonne Womack; one son, Jeremy Womack.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Longtown Full Gospel Church with Reverend Gene Moore officiating. Pallbearers include Jason Womack, Lamar Womack, Tommy Faulkner, Fred Benton, Todd Shell, Mike Brady.
Burial will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
