Chelsea Marie Adams, 30 years of age, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in Omaha. Chelsea was born October 21, 1988, in Binghamton, New York, and was adopted and lovingly cared for by Michael and Jan (Thorell) Adams. The family made their home in New York, where Chelsea received her primary education. She later attended Loomis Public Schools in Loomis, graduating with the class of 2007.

Following her education, Chelsea devoted her life as a caregiver. Her caring, and serving heart carried her to the in-home caregiving role, where she helped numerous people on their journey to recovery or final peace, as a hospice caregiver. She also assisted her family with their catering business, Mellorinas Catering, in North Carolina. But most of all, her favorite role was being a loving mother to her three children: Jadarien, Jordan and Jolaiya.

As a young girl, Chelsea accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and was later baptized in North Carolina. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and was an excellent cook. Chelsea will be remembered for her loving heart; her contagious smile; and her love for her children.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Alfred and Shirley Adams; and Darrell and Marie Thorell.

Chelsea leaves to celebrate her life; her three children: Jadarien, Jordan, and Jolaiya; her mother, Jan Adams of Loomis; her father, Michael Adams of North Carolina; her brother, Chappell Adams of Loomis; special friends: Ronald Cardwell and Jarvis Ross; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
