Bruce Russell, beloved husband of Jean Russell for 63 years, passed away on Wednesday April 23, 2014, at age 86.
Bruce worked at Dow Chemical Company for 31 years, retiring in 1982. He graduated in 1949 from Michigan State University with a B.S. in chemistry, and his postgraduate studies were at Illinois Institute of Technology in 1950. He began his career at Dow in the Polyethylene Plant and retired as Manager, Financial Services, Quality Assurance and Safety, Nuclear Services Department.
We remember him as an accomplished musician, playing the piano, mandolin, guitar and saxophone. He also loved to read.
