Mrs. Jernigan was born on July 16, 1965 to the late Vernon and Christine Kangater Jernigan in Bulloch County. She attended Beulah Baptist Church and The Advent Christian Church. She loved butterflies, coloring and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons, Dewayne Bowen and Michael Rucker; sister, Debbie Rogers and four grandchildren, Skye and Taylor Bowen and Chase and Randy Rucker.
